The Lost Hero (The Heroes of Olympus #1)
Tell me why it took me NINE years to read this lmaoI'm so happy to be back in Rick Riordan's magical worlds and cannot wait to continue with this series.
I cant really explain the feeling I get while reading Rick Riordan books, but they inspire me to keep living. This book especially is such a classic for me because it's a continuation off Percy Jackson, while also being the start of a new journey. I also love this trio. Leo, Jason, and Piper feel so rooted in my soul because this is the oldest Rick Riordan book I remember reading. Here's some Fall Out Boy songs, because their music reminds me so much of the Percy Jackson/Heroes of Olympus books:-

So, this is gonna be a quick review cause I forgot what happened and I dont know how to write reviews anymore. This is the first book in the Heroes of Olympus series which continues off from the Percy Jackson series. . . EXCEPT THIS TIME, were dealing with new characters. So we got introduced to a number of new characters and a whole bunch of roman mythology ish. Its great. ^^ Those are our three new demigods main characters and theyre pretty fabulous. Each of these characters are dealing with
So I finished this book in 8 hours of solid reading. Yes, even 400-something pages of Greek mythology take that long. And the first thing which I should mention is that this book, and some others which have come before it and all those which will follow, have nothing going for them except for plot. Absolutely nothing. (Well, unless you count occasional hilarious one-liners on the side. I guess I should.) Of course, we can't discuss this book without discussing the original Percy Jackson and the
( 3.7 STARS )This was really great, it felt amazing to be back in Percy Jackson's world (despite the fact he wasn't in this one).I loved the new characters and the new ideas within the plot! It didn't take me long to get attached to the new trio and I'm looking forward to going on more adventures with them in the future! It was also really nice to see old characters and references to the Percy Jackson series, they were brought in nicely and worked really well! The only thing that let this book

Jason has a problem. He doesn’t remember anything before waking up in a bus full of kids on a field trip. Apparently he has a girlfriend named Piper, and a best friend named Leo. They’re all students at a boarding school for “bad kids.” What did Jason do to end up here? And where is here, exactly? Piper has a secret. Her father has been missing for three days, ever since she had that terrifying nightmare about his being in trouble. Piper doesn’t understand her dream, or why her boyfriend suddenly doesn’t recognize her. When a freak storm hits during the school trip, unleashing strange creatures and whisking her, Jason, and Leo away to someplace called Camp Half-Blood, she has a feeling she’s going to find out. Leo has a way with tools. When he sees his cabin at Camp Half-Blood, filled with power tools and machine parts, he feels right at home. But there’s weird stuff, too—like the curse everyone keeps talking about, and some camper who's gone missing. Weirdest of all, his bunkmates insist that each of them—including Leo—is related to a god. Does this have anything to do with Jason's amnesia, or the fact that Leo keeps seeing ghosts?Point Books Toward The Lost Hero (The Heroes of Olympus #1)
