I love Water Falls Down. Three teens who aren't your typical leading characters, escape from a mental hospital and hideout in a national park. They build a fort, have drama, relationships develop among the main characters, and shady activity takes place in the woods. Depression, heart break, and teenage angst are the main themes in this story. This is book one in the series, and I'm looking forward to reading the second book.I felt this book was boring. . It could have definitely touched on the "mental" illness of these kids , and why they were in the psych unit until they broke out.Even in their "adventure" Nothing happened . They could of ran into a place with a TV and see themselves being searched for. The story barely touched on their family life as well. It DIDNOT need to be a cliff hanger , as it was only 191 pgs on my Nook. I was looking forward to this book a lot, as it came recommended on Goodreads. Very
favourite read
I was really looking forward to reading this. It was a really fun book. I finished the book in five days. The character of Lynn can be frustrating as she works through some of her depression and the way she distorts realty. The leading male character Garret can be a jerk at times, and then other times he's a girl's best friend. The third character Chelsea was risky and sexy, if she couldn't create trouble and drama, she'd go looking for it. I thought it was messed up that they stole from

I enjoyed this book for the most part. It showed that people are not their mental illness, that mental illness is just a part of them. It was interesting to see how the characters survived, sometimes because of the way their illness made them act. I also liked the idea that came through at times that our society tends to cause or create mental illness when people don't conform to the masses. I thought the characters were well developed and interesting. What I didn't like was learning at the end
