My rating is on the low side of a 3.5I would not recommend this book in audio...the narrator is truly awful. I stopped about halfway through and picked up the book to read instead, and I have to say I enjoyed it much much more. I like the mythology behind the series very much, but I was not too fond of the hero and heroine of this particular book. This author took what could have been an interesting plot and turned it into something a grade-schooler might have written if she sneaked peeks at her mama's romance novels and reassembled the pieces incorrectly. Terrible prose (wonder boobies?), terrible characterization, poorly plotted.



WOW, I loved this book. Maybe because I wasn't expecting to find such an amazing read due to the reviews it had. So later in the book Ann started showing tgose ways the female main characters act that gets on my nerves but with her i couldnt really get mad because it qas mostly because she thought she was unloveable. I am so glad i finished this book and cant wait to read the others.
