Description In Pursuance Of Books Book One: Sporadic Memories
Book One: Sporadic Memories is a novel about a lifestyle that needs to be read about. Within the first few pages you will realize there has been a loss, it is not sad though; the narrator expresses with great enthusiasm the life they lived, which makes it nice during the times when it becomes difficult to read. By the first few pages I hope you can hear the narrator has been alive for a long time, explaining the way it is written? There is no distinction between the characters’ genders, which offers a personal experience for the reader. The part that remembers the time they gave bracelets to each other brings about another way of joining together in marriage … following how their courtship developed, and the apple tree that is depicted throughout the novel using its fruit in traditional family recipes. It gets sad for a bit after this, but notice that it gets sad because there is so much more to why the one lost is worth writing about. It is partly a love story. You know for sure it is when you get to the parts about the piano played and songs written … you should at first read to the first song. The memory at the exhibition and recalling times in the rain and snow are next. They traveled a lot together and you will read of a place if you read a little past the description of the surroundings of their home. If you read to the first birthday mentioned; you will find a recipe worth trying, a poem worth reading, and fireworks. The narrator is a playwright, so there is a play that is broken down throughout the novel … it is a difficult read, but it is important in showing how the two brought their work together, and what positive influences they made upon those they met. Things are repeated to show how important positive repetition is, which helps to move past pain while remembering the passion. This novel is full of passion, carried throughout the life they had for each other, their work, and their friends … you might want to read through first until you hear about their friends. This novel completes the story as the pages turn; putting certain pages together will bring the memories in order. It is an easy read. It is written poetically, which gives it justice. It begins the way it ends … Book One: Sporadic Memories is a novel about a lifestyle that needs to be read about.Mention Books Toward Book One: Sporadic Memories

Author Ali Marsman has created a masterpiece of human emotions. As I read her "Sporadic Memories", I was touched on a profound level by the main characters endearing account of life, love and loss. There is no abject despondency or deep depression conveyed, however, but barely a tinge of sadness just enough to add drama to the narration. The stronger emotion that dominated my psyche as I read was one of hope, since the character seems to draw strength from her memories. Her Sporadic MemoriesThis is not a novel in the normal sense of the word but a novel of poetry; it is about love and loss and about time and life. The apple on the cover symbolizes ecstasy, fertility, abundance and love, and when an apple tree is planted on pg. 160, it brings with it inspiration. I love the recipes that follow: apple pie, curried apple soup, apple butter and more. I even tried a couple (apple baked pancakes and apple jelly) and both were really good. Honest and engaging, this is a book from the
So, this book was not what I was expecting at all. And I have to admit that after reading the back cover, I was really not excited. That was the worst back cover writing I think I've ever read! Now, the book itself read more like a poem. A very, very long poem. In some ways I liked this as it was unique and felt very melodious and peaceful, tranquil and soft, serene and soulful... However, the book/poem was truly about 100 pages too long. And I got a little tired of reading kind of the same thing

Throughout the book, Ali Marsmans writing invoked almost continuous, intense love and yearning. The person, who I presume passed, was much loved and revered. Some passages are beautifully written and heartfelt. The theme appeared to be apples, which is depicted on her book cover. Apples have many symbolisms, but I think the symbols in Alis book are love, beauty, and remembrance. The apple tree represents immortality; the person will always be alive in their heart. There are several apple recipes
I should have been the first one to rate my novel as I am so very proud of myself and my work!I hope you enjoy(ed) it!?Sincerely,Ali :)
I throughly enjoyed the book, yes it was not your normal read but I loved the recipes and the women empowerment. It certainly reflecs the title and you just may sporadically read it! I can't wait for the next edition!!!
This book is written in a very lyrical style which comes across as haunting poetry. The female narrator tells us of her great love, a union of mind and soul, and then of the loss of that love. This author weaves a lovely spell and draws you in to the almost musical tone of the story. She has published several other books: some contain visual images and recipes (which I always enjoy seeing). The author is also a Canadian, and I am so happy and proud to support another Canadian author.Keep up the
