I think this might be my favorite Superman comic of all time. Amazing art from Tim Sale, and a great coming of age story. A much better effort than John Byrnes Man of Steel.

My personal favourite Superman comic. I have a soft spot for this melancholy tale. It captures the essence of Superman - the humanity of his character - by understanding that the lenses of Clark Kent and his surrounding friends and family members are most important.

I used to have a problem with Supes. Being a fan of the Bat, Superman was a little too squeaky clean for me.
