Oh I do so love visiting a foreign city and reading this book was as good as wandering around Venice for real. A great character in Commisario Brunetti who comes alive in front of ones eyes. Great plotting and beautiful descriptions which evoke the reality of Venice. I have not read Brunettin order so starting at the beginning is a bit strange but it feels rather good. I look forward to catching up on the other ones I have missed!
